What was your challenging zone as technical designer during product development?
Here is a project where I made a knock off ofΒ The Donna Karan Company, LLC.Β runway look which went through serval fitting to correct pattern to right fit. I enjoyed the process.
This was the project i did inΒ Academy of Art UniversityΒ and i thankΒ YUKO FUJISHIMAΒ for being a great mentor in this project.
π Prototype Validation: Initial sampling allows fashion designers to transform their concepts and sketches into tangible prototypes, ensuring the final product meets quality and design standards.
π Fit and Function Testing:Β
Sampling provides an opportunity to evaluate the fit and functionality of garments, leading to better-fitting and more comfortable clothing for consumers.
𧡠Material and Construction Assessment:Β
Sampling allows designers to test different materials and construction methods, ensuring the final product meets quality standards and aesthetic requirements.
π° Cost and Time Optimization:Β
Sampling helps in optimizing production costs and lead times by refining designs and production workflows early in the development process.
π₯ Client and Market Feedback:Β
Sampling provides an opportunity to gather feedback from clients, buyers, and consumers, allowing designers to make informed decisions and adjustments to meet market demands effectively.
